Omnicane Logistic Operations Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the following post: Automobile Electrician – Grade I
- Include the duties of an automobile electrician grade II
- Be conversant with measurements required in the trade to fulfill the tasks diligently
- Be at ease with all diagnostic and measuring tools of the trade for the proper discharge of your duties
- Diagnose and repair any fault in the lighting system of vehicles, test lamps, remove and replace a fuse if necessary
- Understand alternating current and direct current fundamentals and carry out repairs on all electrical machines, complete rewinding of starters, alternators and dynamos
- Ensure good housekeeping of all tools generally used in the trade and the workplace.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and French
- Excellent organisational skills to plan and prioritise
- Dynamic, good interpersonal skills, results-driven approach and proactive
- Reliable and responsible
- Ability to work in team or individually
- Willingness to work odd hours.
- Holder of a National Trade Certificate from the Mauritius Institute of Training and Development or alternative equivalent qualification with at least 5 years’ work experience.
