The very nature and extent of our primary activity requires logistics and haulage operations on a major scale. We run our own as an integral part of that activity.
Our fleet of more than 30 lorries, all equipped with GPS technology, annually transports about 215,000 tonnes of refined sugar, 200,000 tonnes of coal, and 150,000 tonnes of sugarcane. Major initiatives have recently been undertaken to optimise return trips to and from the port by implementing a unique system of tandem trailers.
