Omnicane Milling Operations Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the following post:
FACTORY OPERATOR - MECHANICAL
Main Duties
- Inspect and check equipment for proper operating conditions.
- Ensure follow-up of routine maintenance as per maintenance plan.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities as required.
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunction.
- Request for work permit and take all safety precautions before intervention on equipment and piping.
- Fill all recommended check list under operational, quality and maintenance system.
Profile
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent organisational skills including planning, prioritising and meeting deadlines.
- Team spirit and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Holder of NC3 in Mechanical Engineering / Brevet d’Etudes Professionnelles (BEP) in Mechanics or an alternative equivalent qualification.
- Experience in pipe fitting and welding will be an advantage.
- At least two (2) years’ relevant work experience.
