Meridis, a fully owned subsidiary of Omnicane, and Mastercard have, this Tuesday 3rd December 2024, signed a Customer Business Agreement in view of the setting up of a digital card payment solution destined to corporates. Such an agreement constitutes a premiere in the financial landscape of Mauritius.

Mastercard is a Global Payment Technology company operating in 210 countries and territories. This collaboration aims to offer an innovative value proposition which is set to revolutionise the corporate payment landscape in Mauritius, offering a unique and seamless digital payment solution specifically tailored for the needs of corporates.

“We are honoured that an internationally recognized player like Mastercard has chosen Meridis to be its partner for Virtual card for corporates in Mauritius. This signature marks the beginning of a long collaboration and we are convinced that we will have the support of the governing bodies to make this project a success” states Mr. Oudesh Seebaruth, Executive Director of Meridis, who emphasised that the company has been investing in its people and continues to do so to remain a learning organization, and build a solid foundation to take Meridis to new horizons.
