Omnicane Milling Operations Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the following post:
MECHANICAL TEAM LEAD
Main Duties
- Perform mechanical maintenance work on equipment, including disassembly, parts replacement, adjustment, and machine restart.
- Diagnose mechanical breakdowns and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Communicate the results of interventions and report any anomalies detected.
- Ensure that each round of preventive maintenance is completed.
- Assist in the inventory of spare parts and report restocking needs or stock issues.
- Ensure that all interventions strictly follow safety & health policies.
- Supervise the technicians under their responsibility and ensure optimisation of the performance of equipment.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Qualifications
- Holder of a Higher School Certificate (HSC)/ NC3 in Mechanical Engineering/ Brevet d’Etudes Professionnelles (BEP) in Mechanics or an alternative equivalent qualification.
- Experience in pipe fitting and welding will be an advantage.
- At least two (2) years’ relevant work experience.
