Omnicane Milling Operations Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the following post:
PIPE FITTER/ WELDER
Main Duties
- Perform metal and pipe cutting & welding.
- Perform panel and structural cutting & welding.
- Carry out sheet metal works.
- Make sound Arc, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welding.
- Recognise different metals and select the most suitable electrodes for welding.
Profile
- Computer literate.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Holder of a School Certificate.
- Holder of a “Brevet de Technicien” (BT)/ “Brevet de Technicien Supérieur” (BTS)/ National Certificate (NC) - Level 4 in Welding and Pipe Fitting or alternative equivalent qualification.
- Experience in an industrial environment would be an advantage.
