Omnicane Milling Operations Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the following post:
PRODUCTION LEAD
Main Duties
- Lead a team of Production Supervisors.
- Ensure production targets are met.
- Ensure efficient sugar production process and carry out any necessary troubleshooting.
- Ensure that the maintenance plan is strictly followed and spare equipment is in proper running condition.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment.
- Ensure the sugar bagging and logistics targets are met.
- Monitor all process parameters, including Food Management Policies, Safety & Health and Quality Management System.
Profile
- Good leadership and organisational skills.
- Self- motivated and results-oriented.
- Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ready to work on shift.
Qualifications
- Holder of a School Certificate (SC)/ Higher School Certificate (HSC) or any equivalent qualification.
- Holder of a DUST, HND or BTS or Bachelor in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any equivalent qualification.
- At least five years post-qualification experience.
- Experience in the Sugar Industry or in an industrial environment would be an advantage.
