Omnicane Milling Operations Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the following post:
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Main Duties
- Meet production targets related to the KPIs of the Refinery.
- Ensure efficient sugar production process and carry out any necessary trouble shooting.
- Lead a team of operators & technicians.
- Monitor environmental issues.
- Promote Safety & Health in accordance with the Safety and Health policies in place.
- Meet the sugar bagging and logistics targets.
- Meet all quality specifications and standards as per the SOPs of the Refinery.
Profile
- Good leadership and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ready to work on shift.
Qualifications
- Holder of a School Certificate/ Higher School Certificate or any equivalent qualification.
- Holder of a DUST, HDN or BTS in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with suitable relevant experience at supervisory level or any other relevant qualifications.
- Experience in the Sugar industry or in an industrial environment would be an advantage.
