Omnicane Ethanol Production Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the following post:
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Main Duties
- Responsible for proper operation of the plant during different shifts.
•
Ascertain all process parameters and KPI’s of the factory including that related to various quality systems implemented.
•
Reporting and recording data accurately.
•
Responsible for the team working under your supervision.
•
Enforce and ascertain all implemented health and safety procedures.
•
Ensure work is carried out such as keeping the work environment clean and tidy.
•
Liaise with other Omnicane entities, CO2 plant, CMS plant and internal departments for optimal operations.
•
Work in close collaboration with the maintenance team.
•
Perform any other cognate duties.

- Good leadership and organisational skills.
Self- motivated and results oriented.
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ready to work on shift.
Qualifications
- Holder of a School Certificate (SC)/ Higher School Certificate (HSC) or any equivalent qualification.
- Holder of a DUST, HND or BTS in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any equivalent qualification.
- Experience in an industrial environment would be an advantage.
